Expedia booked me into a non existent room. I booked a Double Room King. The Hampton doesn’t even have one of those apparently! And no other rooms available! I had to leave and find two separate rooms at a different hotel for twice the cost!

"Great place to stay"

We were greeted by Shari when we checked in, so pleasant to see. Big shout out to the Housekeeping Staff! Room was so clean n smelled amazing, even the next day when we checked out. Breakfast was their standard, you know what you’re getting, but it was fresh n hot. We were checked out by Joel, was great to see his happy face first thing in the morning, he has a quick wit n a quick laugh n he was busy! Phones were keeping him hopping, but still had time for a Have a Good Day! Definitely recommend.

"It went from feeling welcomed to mediocre."

The guy who checked me in on 07/06 was friendly and welcoming.

With the political climate of the world today, it was disrespectful to play Fox News or any other political channel in the main lobby. A musical or sitcom would have been appropriate. This sent a dominant, subliminal, unwelcoming message. The lady at the front desk (07/07, 11 am) should have controlled the atmosphere by not allowing her political views to represent Hamptons, unless she was instructed.

"Hotel great, breakfast not"

The breakfast was mediocre. Out of fruit one day, out of shredded cheese another, and fruit juices empty and not replaced. Kitchen staff chatted with one patron for 15 minutes and ignored others. Tables not bused. Rooms and maid service were excellent. Front desk staff pleasant.
