"A beautiful building, refurbished to a high standard. Staff were really friendly and food was so goo"

Breakfast was really good and I'm fussy!! The food in the restaurant in the evening was really good too. Would definitely go back just for dinner. The spa treatment Roman Bath was amazing too.

The room was sweltering!! And no fridge in the room but minors.

"Only there one night for a family party locally, but it was comfortable and clean."

Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere in this older building that has recently been renovated. Bed was very comfortable with a large bathroom. Nice big breakfast with lots of choice.

There was only one teabag and two sachets of sugar, Lots of coffee and herbal teas. Luckily only one of us wanted tea

"Charming hotel in a secluded location"

Absolutely charming service in a character property, with excellent food and drink. The ensuite even had a bedet, a British rarity!

Bathroom supplies could have been slightly more generous, though I'm sure the staff would have obliged with any extra needs!

"Fabulous!"

We booked a last-minute Dinner, Bed and Breakfast stay to celebrate our 15th Wedding Anniversary, after Rushton Hall let us down. And it is as fabulous as all the reviews say. We couldn’t fault anything. Beautiful bedroom, friendly, attentive staff, and delicious food. We will be returning!

What's not to like? The building has plenty of history but the rooms were exceptional and not tired like some hotels we have stayed in. The food in the evening was incredible and the breakfast full of choice. We also had the couples Roman bath experience in the spa this was out of this world. The Spa just for us no one else how amazing is that!. The wooden bath with exfoliating scrub amazing. The dead sea body mud pack amazing and the couples massage was out of this world both massues really getting into some deep knots and tension but always checking to make sure it was ok. The staff were lovely throughout always cheerful, always helpful. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Honestly? There was nothing to not like. Maybe the payment at the end (a bit of a kafuful with my bank ) but this was all handled so nicely with a free cup of Chinese tea.

"Should have stayed longer"

The furnishing is marvellous, plus the staff are so welcoming and warm.

The shower head in the room we stay was looking really rusty and dirty. Needs urgent change to be honest.
