"HORRIBLE"

2.0

Worked all day got to what they call an inn. Dirty, filthy and in dire need of an overhaul, no one at this inn, no guest no inn keeper. Key with a note to tell me what room is mine, walked into room no AC. A filthy little window fan . This was on the 2 nd floor and it was 95 all day, actually a heat wave all month. Lobby a dump. Finally found someone in the barn. Was surprised I was so disgusted. Could not stay, as a middle age woman.i felt it was not even safe. No cell power in area also. Had to drive 12 miles away from that rat hole to find something decent. Never in all my years have I refused to stay somewhere. I cannot believe this place. SPD. Massachusetts

"DISGUSTING - DO NOT STAY HERE"

2.0

Beware non-refundable hotel. Beware no on-site staff. No path cleared to entrance. Stayed in "loft" above bar with 3 beds. Room temp upon our check-in was 51 degrees. Bedding stained. Slept in clothing on top of bed. Bathroom very old and stained. Toilet was brown. Drain in shower non functioning, so in ankle deep gross water. 2 kids would not take showers. We are accustomed to 2 or 3 star accommodations for ski vacations. We only expect bare essentials but it must be clean. This was horrendous.

"Off the beaten path"

6.0

This hotel is far off the main road and we arrived after dark. It is more like a B&B, with only coffee for breakfast. the owner left a note and a key, we never saw anyone who worked there. Luckily, we ran into another guest who told us we could find a restaurant for dinner.

"I would not stay here again"

2.0

The room had a non working fan, a small tv that You needed a magnifying glass to watch. There were also brown stains on the sheets. We got the one room that locks behind you so the guy behind the desk had a spare, but he left it out in the lobby so I felt as though I had to block the door in case someone broke in. Very old style looks. It felt like a horror movie trip back to the 1960s.

"Excellent"

It was a nice cozy place. Showers didn't work properly but was still ok. Some outlets didn't work. I liked the vintage look to it. Definitely a nice place to stay during the cooler season. Didn't look like it had air conditioning but my stay overall was good

Overall, the house was great. Beds and sheets could use updating. We were there for the Spartan Race weekend and it worked out perfectly for our group. There’s no breakfast, but you have access to the kitchen to heat up food or use the fridge, eat, ect. We didn’t get a chance to use it, but they have a pool table for entertainment. It was quiet and Al was very friendly and accommodating. One major suck is that there is no reception for your cell phones…the entire area has no reception. There is free wifi, but it was hard to connect to it; and you can you the room phone for free to make outgoing calls.

"Comfortable place to sleep."

8.0

I stayed here for one night and have no real complaints about the place. This is a winter vacation town so in the summer/fall it's pretty dead. This place is probably hopping in the Winter time and would be comfortable for a weekend stay. The main house is a charming old farmhouse and has a very winter lodge feel. It's a good price and a fine place to sleep but would not recommend it for any special couples getaway.
