Convenient to Port of Everglades and Ft Lauderdale marina

The breakfast was minimal. The entry/ lobby was hard for our Lyft driver to find.

The staff was great… Crystal was wonderful!

It was dirty, people lived there more motel. The bathroom was soooo dirty. Around the faucet wasn’t cleaned nor the tub. Had to clean the BR before giving my kids a shower. The trash room was disgusting. Had people idling in hallways, big men standing and eating in hallways, throwing trash on the floor. No housekeeping. Carpets were moldy. Ugh! I could go on.

Had a midnight flight cancelation ,tried to check in at 1am.The front desk made the reservation on site as they said they had rooms. Should have known by the shabby musty lobby that this was a place to avoid .Lobby looked more like a place you paid to get your card in a tow lot. Paid $177 for a room, got a key ,opened door, room occupied ,poor person in bed screamed as we tried to enter ,back to front desk, new key for different room , same deal, room occupied ,very dangerous as it was 1am. back down to front desk, They finally figured out hotel booked, agreed to credit my jetblue card $177,uber back to airport because unlike cats I don't have 9 lives.so sleeping at the airport seemed like a life saving option. Waited a week no credit card credit, worked with hotel GM Tresor Kabasha ,complete loser !! Agreed that if I made the reservation it would be a simple refund. Several emails ,promised refund ,scam artist. Tresor didn't take any responsibility or understand this wasn't normal hotel operations . I told him if I didn't get refund in a week I would write an honest review. Told me not to threaten the hotel ,that it wasn.t a big deal. emailed the CEO and headquarters ,Tikia Hill responded but never followed through. Jet blue is now disputing the charges and I'm filing a complaint with the BBB and the Fla Attorney General. I've travel for years business and pleasure and I can assure you that Extended Stay America is bad company, read BBB reviews and this is not uncommon for this musky, dirty ,dangerous hotel chain. Other reviews for this Ft Lauderdale hotel talk about shady people hanging around and drug activity .Stay away from this crap hole . I'm just happy I didn't get shot going into two rooms at 1am. Bad company, crappy smelly hotel with loser management .

Short distance to terminal

Dirty, smelly, faulty elevators, Faust advertising on breakfast, had cockroaches in the room, no ice machines, will NEVER stay there again and will never recommend anyone else to go there

The employees were friendly

Both elevators were broken They advertise free breakfast - just coffee and muffins and no seating area Difficulty flushing toilet

It had walking distance to different restaurants, stores.

Always clean and staff really nice.

Crystal is absolutely amazing at the front desk! She made my stay with my kids so much more memorable. They allowed us to leave our bags at the front desk after we checked out so we could explore the area before heading to the airport. The only downside was the elevator was not working when we left so had to carry our luggage down 3 flights of stairs. But other than that the stay was perfect! Thank you again Crystal you were amazing 💜
