5/5 — Beautiful, Peaceful Stay at Royal Wood Resort I recently stayed at the Royal Wood Resort and had a wonderful experience. The villa was absolutely beautiful — spacious, quiet, and set within a secure gated community that offered complete peace of mind. The 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom apartment was spotless and well maintained, with a fully equipped kitchen that made it easy to prepare meals. The beds were very comfortable, and the whole space had a relaxed, home-away-from-home feel. Location-wise, it was perfect — tucked away in a peaceful area yet just a short drive to The Star Casino, Dreamworld, and other attractions. Overall, an excellent stay. I’d definitely recommend Royal Wood Resort to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and secure villa close to everything but away from the crowds.

The only downside was that the reception was closed when I arrived, and I had to contact security to reach the reception staff. It wasn’t a major issue, but it did make check-in a little inconvenient.

No exhaust fan in bathroom. Probably doesn't meet code! Tv doesn't work ,poor quality. Very ordinary lounge , old uncomfortable. Dirty windows. Noisy frig

The staff were fantastic and the villa was perfect. Great location

The indoor pool and spa were out of service, these were part of the reason why we chose this place.

We were very disappointed with this accommodation. the blurb states that is luxury accomodation which in reality isn't true. If you aren't there before 4pm you cant book in. The beds are old and mouldy. The air conditioners haven't been cleaned for a long time. Wifi doesn't work at all. There is no dishwasher and very basic cooking facilities. Carpets are sticky and the TV has no streaming but if you have any DVDs you can play those...really? The indoor heated pool was out of order and when we complained they said it was on the web site....we cant find it. For the price it isn't worth it....2 star at best

The gardens needed desperate weeding/cutting back and the interior was very dated.
