Royal Woods Resort

Excellent location, the staff member I spoke to (Felipe) was lovely and very helpful, he deserves a raise :). The bed was comfy and there were plenty of appliances in the room to cook for yourself if you didn't want to eat out.

Some details were a little outdated, there were references to quick dials for the landline but there was no phone to call out with. A couple of very small maintenance issues, like the seal around the show drain was broken. The complimentary soaps had been opened before I got there.

Setting is gorgeous, staff lovely, villa itself very tired indeed - not sure how it’s a 4 star. There was a drain smell in the bathroom, the spa bath just looked grotty, the lounge was in dire need of a clean. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it

The back gate entrance is really annoying. It's saying that the works on front gate was supposed to be finished in 2023....a bit behind with maintenance.

Philip on reception was great. House was fine, quite basic and smelled a little musty. Had everything I needed though. Kitchen kitted out and a hot powerful shower. Bit of a pain to get taxis to and from coast area every day so factor that into cost comparison.

Words can not comprehend how low this joint was iv stayed in better backpackers. Claims it’s a resort …. This is horribly wrong on so many levels. This is a Motel not a resort !!!! Overpriced absolute dive NEVER AGAIN. The bed could have been a rock as iv slept on better floors. I think iv said enough that other don’t fall into this trap!!!
