Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique - All Inclusive - Adults Only

Food: great flavor and quality. Room: lovely, peaceful and perfect for resting. We did have some issues with the hot water. Staff: is definitely the best part of the hotel. Everyone from all departments treated us with genuine kindness, especially the waiters and bartenders who were always attentive and friendly. We really appreciated Dayana’s company and support, as she helped us with all our questions and concerns. Felipe, Fernando, and Juverli were also outstanding and made our stay even more pleasant. Value for money: the price quality ratio is good considering the amenities and the property itself. However, improving small details, such as refilling in room amenities daily (coffee, water, and sodas) and fixing the hot water service, would have made the stay absolutely perfect.

Kind staff Great food Not over crowded with guests. Beautiful Property and wildlife. Room not ready at Check-in. Almost 2 hours after we had to find someone to ask about the room. Alarm in room at 1AM the first night. Quick response time but the repair took quite some time. We had to call daily to get drinks & towels. Very inconsistent replacement of any towels or drinks. We wouldn’t leave towels on the floor/basket but they would still get taken and only replaced with one towel for two of us. The fridge was never replaced with water without a call. Coffee was never replaced. Called twice to get soaking tub filled and it was never filled. Overall it was a nice visit, but with more inconveniences than we’ve ever experienced at an all inclusive.

Amazing wildlife, excellent weather and a beautiful beach. Everything we needed for a pleasant stay, we found here. The staff is incredibly kind and creative; we had a lot of fun, and even though the atmosphere is very peaceful you never get bored. They offer elegant and enjoyable shows during dinner that perfectly match the ambience of the place. The food is delicious, with generous portions and great quality.

The resort was very nice. The food was very good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The service at the restaurants and the beach was fantastic! We were fortunate to have Fidel as our server while we were at the beach each day. He is very kind and super efficient. It anticipated our needs and took care of them accordingly. We also had the pleasure of spending the evenings with Juverli at the bar. He was awesome. Very funny, entertaining and phenomenal at his job. Both gentlemen deserve recognition! As for the service for our room.... it was disappointing. We had issues getting clean towels, wash cloths, floor towels and ice (we were told we could not get ice ourselves) brought to our room. I think that's about all!

We had a great stay at Blue Diamond beautiful hotel pesceful and excellent service The only thing to note is that there was some construction noise during the day but it didn’t ruin the experience at all. Overall its still a very relaxing place and definitely worth visiting

This is our 3rd stay here and it will definitely be our last! The resort is nowhere near 5 star and is definitely not worthy of the “luxury” name. I am surprised that WestJet even includes this place as an offering. The resort is run down, dilapidated, under staffed and it appears to be allowed to do so by the owners. The 7 storey construction approximately 20 feet away from the property boundary does not add to the ambience! Our understanding is that the resort is being sold to SunWing so good luck with that!!! Positives: the staff are friendly but there aren’t enough of them to provide service. Negatives: the rooms are dilapidated, the furnishings are old and the blinds are frayed at the edges. The food is alright but nowhere near the quality that it once was or that could be described as 5 star. There is a shortage of poolside furniture and what is there is tired and worn. The whole place is tatty, tired and in dire need of refurbishment: there are broken tiles on the main thoroughfare, railings are loose, paint is peeling and the wooden decking needs painting (replacing in some parts) to mention just a few. I hate being critical but I think I owe it to others to warn them that the name and rating of this resort will leave people bitterly disappointed as indeed, are we.

Blue Diamond is a stunning resort, pictures do not do it justice. It is clean and well maintained - we enjoyed the trees, seeing the flora and fauna (coatis, birds, the occasional monkey, and crocodiles). The staff here are very friendly, the reception staff were knowledgeable and very helpful. We arrived as a family of 9 adults, and we thought Blue Diamond may not cater as well to a group of our size (I saw mostly couples), but the service staff were really helpful. Biggest pros: - The resort beauty - The food is exceptional (a la carte) - You can get easily get your 10K steps because of how spread out everything is. This can also be a drawback - but you can request a golf cart. I do think the resort could do a better job of making more bikes available. But I personally love walking. The other area for improvement would be the gym. For a resort of this size, I do think you need a second workout bench. And some of the equipment was not working - please fix these. We also did some activities - snorkelling and a cacao ceremony which were great! Overall, I’d give our stay here 5 stars. We were here for our parents’ 50th wedding anniversary - my mother can be difficult to please, but she said this was her favourite resort experience! Thank you for a wonderful stay, Blue Diamond! We will treasure the memories we made here for a long time.

Beautiful relaxing vacation. Very private accommodations. Restaurants and bars top notch. Best food ever. Resort itself is in need of a lot of maintenance. Room service was disappointing. They best hang on to their chef.

A luxury experience during my stay at the Blue Diamond Hotel was undoubtedly a truly luxurious one. The amenities are top-notch, everything is very comfortable and surrounded by nature. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, and the spa is extremely relaxing.
