Oaks Queenstown Club Suites

Staff were nice and friendly, room was beautifully warmed on arrival, room was clean and tidy. Beautiful views of the lake and mountains, if we were to return to Queenstown again we would definitely be happy to stay at the Oaks Deluxe Suites again.

Good and class accommodation at a very reasonable price. The whole stay was quite relaxing and tension free. Easy check-in and check out. Only issue(minor though) was the size of the toilet bathroom. It was a bit of a tight space.

Stayed at the Oaks resort with my family for our first family holiday, room was very nice, views were lovely, staff were friendly. Parking was very easy and it was all covered which made getting baby in and out of the car easy without getting wet.

Disappointing stay. every day we had to contact reception for things that should have been attended to by housekeeping. For example toilet paper, milk, tissues and towels. Reception was unattended in stated hours.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was very spacious, quiet, clean and had great views. It had everything you could need. The gas fire was lovely. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, the free shuttle bus to and from town was very handy. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very nice. Facilities are great and rooms are comfortable and clean. It is not value for money. The room for one person I slept in is dark and does not have a proper view to the lake. I asked for a better room when I arrived but I was told it was the best room they had available. Lady at the front desk was just pretty much you can take this or leave and we will refund you. I insisted and she said they could move me to another room the next day but it was not guaranteed. The next morning a lady at the front desk showed me the new room and I appreciated the time she took to walk through it and evaluate my options. I stayed in the same room, not very much difference. On the second night it was Easter so nobody came to clean my room and they said it was a holiday so I should not expect room service. I was told I had to clean my own dishes because the hotel would not do it for me. I asked for new clean dishes and one of the ladies at reception came with new ones and clean towels. My room was not cleaned nor my bed was done. On check out I asked for a compensation for the day I paid for room service that I didn't get. The lady at the front desk treated me like if I was asking for something extra. She even told me that the hotel had gone out of their way to service. It was the minimum you would expect for a hotel like this. She said the room service would cost NZD 21 and that was the amount I got back. I was so disappointed with their service and cordiality. When you pay more than NZD 800 for 3 days, there is a minimum service you expect from that. I would not come back.

The reception staff were helpful & friendly and the reception area offered a beautiful view to relax and unwind. Level 1 units should really be called garden view and not lake view as you really only get a glimpse of the lake when standing from this level.

This apartment was in a great location with excellent views and very spacious. It had everything we needed just need a new bed in the 2nd bedroom. Great value for the money. Could walk into Queenstown along the access path from the apartment.
