Oaks Queenstown Club Suites

The view they show is not necessarily what you will get. We were underwhelmed upon walking into our room how bland it was. The staff however, are excellent. Good walking track at door, and free shuttle bus into town and back if you want to dine out.

Pros: friendly staff. Free parking. Toiletries smell nice. Large room. Walking distance to town along either a footpath or the highway. Sun terrace for all guests with great lake view. Con: hotel room is the poor relation of the suites. Walls are paper thin and our neighbours had feral children and less patience. Our room was very dark because the suites get 15 floor to ceiling windows. Reception only open until 8pm and very minimal servicing on public holidays days when they have to pay staff more, but us paying Easter prices. Summary: Honestly we stayed here because booking.com reduced the heck out of it after a few awful reviews and we got what we expected. In fact it was possibly even a bit better. The rainfall shower was better than other reviews made out, but the selection of teas was worse. All in all if its the cheapest place and you want to park up and walk into QTown go for it. If you are going to take the car anyway then stay on Frankton and be near coffee and breakfast.

This suite we had exceeded our expectations and we just didn't want to leave after 4 days. The view we had to the lakes and mountains was just amazing. The walk trails at the back of the Oaks were easy for us to get to and make our into town or to just take a lovely stroll along the water. We always felt safe (travelling with my two daughters this was a very important factor to me). We would definitely stay here again and I would highly recommend :).

Location and views for this property are perfect. The rooms are absolutely lovely and the overall layout of the inside is amazing. Loved every bit about my stay. The team are friendly and super helpful. Parking is a bit tight if you have larger vehicles, but is manageable. Highly recommend and will definitely be staying here again

Great views, clean and tidy. Our suite needed some TLC. Curtains were frayed, marks on the carpets, no fans in the bathrooms. There is no coffee making facilities and the restaurant at the neighbouring hotel was closed so really could use a Nespresso machine or at least a plunger with fresh coffee for the price!

Great property. Only complaint is difficulty of getting to rooms with suitcases... stairs must be navigated from 9th floor entrance to access elevator, which descends down hillside to rooms. Should install a ramp from car park to elevator lobby.

Great views and lovely walk into town. Used their shuttle service whic is complimentary as well.

Great place to stay in Queenstown. Only a 20min walk along flat ground into town. Beautiful views and a very quiet location. Will definitely stay here again when we visit next.

The parking was tricky and scary. Mirrors needed to see who was coming on the one way ramps! No coffee press and tea and coffee available was not to our liking Did appreciate having an electric fan
