Marrakech Riads, Angsana Heritage Collection

First time to Morocco, and we wanted to stay in an authentic Riad. We chose - Riad Si Said, Marrakech, which proved to be an excellent choice and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for an authentic Riad experience. We found the location of our Riad to be perfect - in a quiet area within the walled Medina - an easy, short 8 minute walk through the bustling streets to the even more bustling main square and Souks. We found the staff to be very professional, warm and friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The whole ambiance of the Riad was one of calm, peace and coolness - an ideal escape from the manic Medina and high temperatures outside. The Riad comprised; delightful dining area in the courtyard, a water pool, numerous quiet areas to relax, rooftop terrace and we enjoyed a spacious bedroom. The breakfast differed daily but always followed a similar format ie fresh fruit, juice, smoothie shot, mix of Moroccan pastries and eggs served anyway you want them, plus tea, coffee etc. We dined-in one evening ,and probably had our best meal of the holiday, choice of typical Moroccan food - extremely tasty and good value. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed Marrakech and staying in Riad Si Said.

Our stay ar the Riad Dar Zaouia was wonderful. Great location in the heart of the medina; very comfortable room and excellent service from all of the staff. Breakfast and dinners highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at Riad Si Said. The hospitality of all the people working there was great. Our room was very clean, they even sprayed a scent we were allowed to pick, on the pillows. And to my surprise they found out about my birthday and the people in the kitchen made me a chocolate pie and brought it to me singing. They were really kind. The Riad is in the Medina, but still in a very quiet place.

A beautifully maintained heritage building in the Marrakech Medina area, but very accessible by road (just a 100m walk from the parking). The staff is consistently polite, attentive and thoughtful, even when English is a challenge for some of them. The room we stayed at was really special. We were upgraded to a beautiful upper floor room with a skylight, lovely tilework in the sitting area, authentic doors, windowframes and furniture. The bathroom was well fitted out while being respectful of the original layout, and the bed was so comfortable. The restaurant is quite good, and the breakfast was sensational It was great to see the Banyan group standard of hospitality being maintained so far from home in Morocco.

Ahmed and team fantastic customer service ringing around...helped us when our taxi back to airport failed to turn up...booked and advised on excursions, would thoroughly recommend this Riad for quality accommodation and location close to everything you need... definitely return and will be advising others to visit

What made our time even more meaningful was how beautifully Moroccan traditions were integrated into our stay. The tea service, in particular, was unforgettable—it wasn’t just a ritual, but a moment to slow down, connect, and fully take in the culture around us. The riad itself is breathtaking. Every corner is impeccably designed, blending authentic Moroccan craftsmanship with a sense of calm, luxury, and elegance. And the food—absolutely incredible. Each meal felt intentional, rich in flavor, and rooted in tradition. Because of Mohamad, this was so much more than a stay—it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I miss it already.

Friendliness of the staff, quietness, roof top terrace, chance to get to know more than one Riad

Had a lovely stay at the Lydines Angsana Riad this week! We felt so welcomed and looked after by all of the staff. The breakfast spread was lovely and the rooms are spacious and always kept clean and tidy. It is an ideal walk away from all of the main spots. Highly recommend!
