Location

Dark room, poor designed room, not light enough compared to other rooms in other places we have stayed. Probably needs painting all white to help a bit as well as light furniture. Very small rooms all too small.

Location is great, plenty of cafes, shops, bars are within walking distance or the bus stop is only about 80m away so you dont really need a car. Hotel was clean with good facilities, staff were helpful & friendly

The only complaint I have is that the room only gets cleaned after 7 nights. For almost $200 a night I would have appreciated a clean on around day 3-4 to remove rubbish and replace towels, toilet paper etc instead of having to go to reception to ask for these.

Great location, friendly staff and beautiful ocean view from the room. We noticed the bathroom fan needed cleaning and the staff were effecient and had it fixed within an hour.

We were charged $140 after we left the hotel and we weren't close, they just sent an email after they charged because they were required to "clean above their standard." We were in the hotel for 8 days. Once, they didn't clean our room and expected us to clean everything and make it spotless. From what I remember, I'm a guest at the hotel, not a worker. Very embarrassing substandard cleaning on their part. They were just looking to make money on us because of a few bags of garbage that were left because they didn't come to clean during the week. It feels like it was planned. I recommend everyone make a video of them arriving and a video of them leaving and documenting that they didn't clean because they will simply charge you more money later.

We liked the friendly reception and their helpful nature. We liked the small sea view from our room, and the cooking facilities and 2/3 size fridge. Especially enjoyable was the balcony's table and chairs, with a view of trees and garden as well. The birds felt welcome there and were fun to watch. Although it rained a lot during our stay, we never felt boxed in. We also enjoyed the long walks we could take, and the view from the top floor where there is a BBQ facility and spa for guests.
