Size of the room, size of the bed, staff were attentive, location was perfect.

The shower handle for changing the temperature looked like it had a bit missing and/or needed upgraded. We didn't have any large towels but we could have phoned down to get some. The carpet could have done with a hoover. But I appreciated we were allowed into our room early but they did say it was ready.

With the exception of the owner, the staff were generally pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our evening meal in the restaurant.

Our room, No 3, was shocking. The decor extremely scruffy, tired and smelled strongly of smoke. No windows to see out of and a carpet which had seen better days years and years ago. It really was not fit for anyone to stay in. After a long journey, I thoroughly inspected the bedding which was clean enough to sleep in. On our 2nd and final night, thankfully we were able to stay with family. I had raised my concerns with the owner and asked for an alternative room but this fell on deaf ears and complete denial of the dismal condition of the accomodation.

Comfy room, plenty parking, nice bar with good food and lovely staff.

A quaint little inn in a small town outside of Perth. Friendly staff, nice sized room with an updated bathroom.

Staff were lovely, food in the restaurant was delicious. The room was clean. Plenty of free parking.

The smell of the corridors. It wasn't a bad smell, but it wasn't very welcoming either. The decor could do with a bit of TLC and attention to detail. Maybe direct people to a designated smoking area, as smokers were standing at the main entrance.

Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was nice.

Unfortunately a lot went wrong 😂 it was muggy and the windows were open which I get but there was 7 flies in my room when I got in, which is a bit icky. The room was old and tired both of these things are ok but the shower had no hot water and in the morning there was a ‘general fault’ on the alarm panel behind reception which started sounding at 6am and didn’t stop till reception was manned again at 10, by which time I was getting ready to leave.
