Beviel niet klopt niet echt maar de kamer was licht gedateerd. Maar zeker met zeer fijn bed.

A very unique classic style gem of a hotel in the old fishing town of Everglades City. Felt like the tropics there. Loved your large hotel room, antique style bedsteads and lamps. Beds comfortable. Liked the layout of the rooms clustered around the beautiful indoor sky-lighted pool. NO Mosquitoes! Your staff was the most thorough and careful in providing all the services needed without asking!! AFTER hours check-in included our wifi passwords and front door access codes, mapped directions to the room were in an envelope with my name pinned outside the door. Staff provided maps of the hotel layout, a map ofthe city restaurants, local attractions and even the eco sights surrounding the whole surrounding area. The four of us seniors received towels for each of us. NO other hotel on our week long stay in Florida (4 seniors in 1 room, 2 queen beds) got that right! Grounds in front were carefully cared for even if the parking area across the street was was a bit muddy. Enjoyed your pool and liked being about to drying towels in your laundry room. Great value for money.

No reflection on the hotel itself, but September is a MAJOR OFF-Season time to visit this quaint fishing town. Whole town comes back to life in October when the Stone Crab season opens. In September only The Island Cafe and the City Seafood were open in the whole town! Triad Seafood Cafe was closed. Good thing we went there for the fabulous Airboat tours not for restaurant variety. Hotel's front entry gate needs some work appears run down. Pool is quite a bit smaller than it appears in the photos with a deep end at only 4 feet. The water had a slight chalkiness to it. Washer in laundry needs repair.

The staff was very friendly, and the pool was perfectly clear and clean. The rooms could use a little upkeep, but the rooms were spacious, and reasonably comfortable.

The shower rod and the plug in the tub were not in working order. But, we made due, and enjoyed our trip.
