Location was stunning and there's a amazing pub a few minutes down the road

The spa wasn't as shown (no hot tub). Had to wait over 10 mins for a member of staff at the bar. The shower temperature in the room was cold

The person at the reception was swearing all the time and was totally stressed what we found very funny. Didn't mind his antics as it was comedy for us

X2 Spiders in my room on arrival and some cobwebs in the bathroom.

Nothing.

Staff came and told us they had complaints about our dog barking, it was 7.30pm, not late. The dog was barking because anyone else on the corridor was walking along talking extremely loudly, shouting or slamming doors repeatedly, we heard 2 guests have a verbal argument.. a dog is going to react to noise, staff failed to speak to any other guests about the noise they were making... extremely hypocritical. It is a dog friendly hotel, if you don't like noise from a dog... stay in a dog free hotel. Dogs bark at noise, who knew. Guests next door to us, who likely complained, also were loud throughout the night. Slamming doors until gone 1am and then from 6am onwards. We also left a tshirt on a previous stay, house keeping claimed to have this and then it went missing, indicating a thief within the staff team. We stay often but will no longer be returning.
