Hampton Inn Santa Rosa

We went for the Santa Rosa half marathon, like we do each year. I have a large family and we were able to have adjoining rooms. It worked perfectly for us and we were able to come back post race and shower. Will definitely stay here again.

Room is spacious , clean and well supplied with towels and toiletries. Amazing breakfast too- I’m well fed!

Horrible cleanliness. Felt something crawling on me. Looked behind bed and you could tell they never cleaned behind the bed or between the mattresses. Pillow has blood. The carpet felt so thick as if it was covered with dirt and sticky. It was just the nastiest feeling ever.

Clean comfortable convenient. I thought it was expensive though.

This hotel is showing his age. The room seemed clean, smelled a little musty… Air-conditioning unit was quiet. Front desk staff was very pleasant and professional. Late in the evening I could hear a screaming child on another floor, but it quieted fairly quickly. Unremarkable but adequate. Cost was high for the mediocre quality received

Terrible nasty not well kept not at all like the Hampton name you expect Outrageous prices paid almost $300 for a standard room with the pet fee unbelievable rip off they sell you on some nice pictures then you get there and the place is a dump with thin walls you can hear everything people walking talking all of it not a nice place Outrageous pet fee non-refundable even if your animal is perfectly clean and makes no messes the staff could care less everywhere you look there are smudges the elevator is dirty equipment in the gym out of order Stay elsewhere and keep your money

Many people use this hotel as a pit stop while traveling cross country but it shouldn’t be an armpit of the Hilton brand-which it is. Hotel is very run down. I should have left when I saw the stains on the Welcome mats and in the elevator. No one could be bothered to pick up the trash or vacuum the crumbs in the elevator. It was nasty. Our room was musty smelling and just well worn. Holes in the wall in the bathroom. Old shower that was so thin, I thought I was going to crack the floor. The a/c was so loud that it kept waking us up when it kicked on. We had a young dog with us that kept finding things on the floor to eat. I took a chunk of moldy bread and chocolate candy pieces away from him. It was apparent that no one had done a decent vacuum in the room in a long time. He ended up with the runs the next morning from eating that crap. The front desk staff at check in and check out have not been properly trained at their job. Hospitality was nonexistent. No greeting for a Diamond member. Check in took too long for no reason. When I checked out, I was charged twice for my pet fee. It took 20 minutes for her to fix it. The clerk, Shanika, called Amy the manager to find out how to fix it. I asked Shanika to tell Amy about my dirty floor and my dog getting sick. Whatever Amy said in response made the clerk laugh on the phone. What is funny about a puppy getting sick because your employee didn’t do their job properly? No apology from the clerk or Amy, the manager. No care in the world about customer recovery. Pretty clear no one that works here cares about their hotel and no one has an interest in doing a good job. They should not be under the Hilton brand.

Adequate

After booking, I called to get my guest's name added to a room, and I was told by the desk clerk that my guest would only have to give my name and that she would then be allowed to check-in. NOT!!! The person I talked with couldn't be bothered to add the name to one of the two rooms. Nor was my guest allowed to check in when she arrived because her name was not on the room! I am not happy!!! I made the effort, but the hotel dropped the ball!!! Someone should be held accountable.
