Hotel Henri IV

Really nice hotel, well located in the center of La Rochelle. A bit noisy during the night, young crowd singing in the street as they walk by, but again, you are in the heart of La Rochelle, at a walking distance from the harbor, bars and restaurants.

Small and basic but great spot, apart from in the middle of the night when the noisy revellers passed by.parking about 5 minutes walk, quite a drag if you have much luggage.

Nice hotel & friendly. Room 31 is next to street with evening noise of town revellers if a light sleeper. Basic rooms, clean and functional. Pay for central location - 2 minute walk to marina & cafe's etc. Not food for parking or getting near hotel to park.

This hotel is perfectly located in the hustle and bustle of the town close to the waterfront. We stayed for 1 night with 2 kids, and had a great time - the hotel was perfect for late night / early morning strolls around this beautiful old town. Room was big, spacious and clean. Highly recommended.

The staying was nice, the hotel staff is very helpful and happy, the room was big enough and the bed comfortable. The only problem we had was with the noise in the street, specially from a store alarm that was starting every half hour all night! This hotel is right in the old town, so, the surroundings are very interesting.

smashing location right in the heart of the old city. We had a forward looking room which was noisy on our first night, but we were moved promptly to a quiet room. Nice friendly place - and a terrific city for a long weekend

We stayed at the hotel Henri IV for 3 nights and had a really great experience. The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms were very clean, the people were friendly. It's an old hotel with no elevator, but it's charming and in good condition. The location is fantastic if you like going out at night, but it can get loud since there are so many bars around.

Nice little place in close to everything. I only stayed for one night but did enjoy it. The staff where great and verry helpful. I will stay there the next time i'm in town.

cntral location great for shops, restaurants and port at La Rochelle. Reception very friendly and happy to speak english (we did attempt french though!) Room basic but clean. Free wifi connection for our smartphones was great. Great value given location. We are a young couple and only stayed for one night and was ideal.
