Extended Stay America Suites - Edison - Raritan Center

I felt that the room would be better if they just touch up some things in the room Actually it is in need of a little bit of updating to fix the water stains on the walls and i could not find a do not disturb option to use in the door . And I think they were knocking on my door in the morning to clean it but I had scheduled a later check out . And the whole first floor smells of marijuana

I am disappointed in the free breakfast no eggs no bagels no orange juice just some old granola bars and the area of the free breakfast was not clean

Very basic room. Mattress was good, pillows were horrible. Bathroom was tight but functional. Advertised free breakfast but failed to state it was grab-n-go with only coffee/tea, muffins and breakfast bars. That should be clearly stated. Entrance needs to be more clearly indicated as it looks plain and like the rest of the building. Were we staying for an extended period it would have been unclear if we should bring our own kitchen supplies/cookware/dishes or if it is supplied on request since this is the Extended Stay hotel.

It was a lot of cars outside that was parked with out a parking pass made it hard to find parking local to the door.

Location

dilapidated and people smoked everywhere just out side the entrance and under our window. The room had an older as we walked in. The elevator kept a medicinal smoke smell
