Extended Stay America Suites - Edison - Raritan Center

The very first night we got there we discovered a water leak coming from the bathroom floor, right next to the toilet. Next morning I told the person at the desk about the leak and he said that several rooms were being vacated that day and he would get one ready for me. That didn’t happen. Next day he said they were all booked and could not give me a room. What they would do instead was cover the leak with an adhesive. I found this to be ridiculous and it really upset me that they would choose to do this instead of giving another room. By the way, the adhesive did not work. The toilet water continued to seep through the floor. I had originally reserved for 60 days but I checked out on my third day. I checked out before 11 am but I was still charged for 3 and a half nights at a rate that was almost double my original rate. As this wasn’t enough, although it is advertised as a smoke free hotel, the place reeked of marihuana, and my room was impregnated with the smell of curry. I will never use Extended Stay America again and will never recommend it to any one.

It was Clean.
