Staff was unfriendly

The staff could've been friendlier when we arrived. They seemed distracted. The hotel in general was disappointing to be honest, very expensive given breakfast wasn't included. The hotel itself felt a little tired.

Hotel and restaurant were wonderful. Hotel staff was superb; we had left an item behind and staff mailed it safely to our home. Loved the location across from a walkable beach with tidepools.

Property is very tired. Bathroom had faucet that did not turn off once you tried to turn it off. Beautiful location, fantastic for walking waterfront.

Nice location near the beach, average room with a TV that had limited Chanels and advertising that was a nuisance to watch and could not avoid. Bar & Restaurant staff quite nice.

The rooms seemed newly refurbished, except for one bed, which made noises when sat on, or turning over. Nice bedding and plenty of pillows.The TV system was minimal (not connected to internet so couldn't use smart TV features or apps). The room was spotless, as was the bathroom. The tub/shower combination could use some wall installed hand holds for those of us that are older and stiffer to increase safety. Rain showerhead was nice. Good hot water flow. We didn't avail of the restaurant or bar.

Lovely staff. Pub was nice and had lots of seating. Seafood chowder for dinner was excellent. The room was big and had an ocean view and a lovely seating area looking out to it. Very comfortable bed.Only one tiny complaint. The toilet is jammed right up against the bathroom radiator so its difficult to sit on it properly as the radiator digs into your left leg. Other than that its perfect.

Very nice room except the shower didn’t drain so you were standing ankle deep in water. Staff was very nice. It was very expensive for what it was.

i can only say this about my bathroom is that the toilet was so close to the radiator that you could not sit straight. terrible planning.

No air conditioning so left window open. So noisy I had to close window and cook so didn’t sleep. Also so noisy in the hallways until nearly 3 am had to turn bathroom fan on to try to drown out the noise. Tough last night in Ireland.
