Casa Bonita Tropical Lodge

I stayed for 2 days, Hotel has amazing view. It is a small hotel, only 1 restaurant. a bit expensive but food is GREAT. The best thing of this hotel is the surroundings. Barahona has everything from the best beaches, mountains, natural caves, rivers ALL!! I recommend if you stay here explore the nature, you wont be disappointed.

Nice hotel to go with your partner, I recommend making the effort and stay in the suite, with private pool on the balcony. The price is quite expensive in all rooms. Have problems with internet connection, better forget about the computer and smart phones. There is also no phones in the rooms. The staff is very friendly and always try to help you. The hotel will be expanded and are working towards perfection. Antonio Fidel and Mayra are excellent hosts. Would return without hesitation.

We had a little trouble finding the hotel, but once there we did t want to leave. It's a great piece of property and the staff is happy to take you on a jeep tour. The zip line is great. The restaurant and pool area are lovely and relaxing. The staff was gracious and friendly. If you are looking for only a beach stay this is not the place, but you are looking for relaxation and a bit of adventure you hit the jackpot. The spa is fabulous as well. We will definitely return and have recommended it to friends.

Nestled amongst the hills of Barahona sit's this wonderful spot. It's romantic, with stunning sea views and twinkling lights. The wait staff is wonderful as is the food served. Note you are paying more than the norm in these parts but worth every cent. I think an upgraded room is in order if you expect more. We did not and noticed some simple needed fixes. That said, I'd go back in a blink.
