Wingate by Wyndham Yuma

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at a Wingate by Wyndham Yuma from 2 April through 4 April. I was traveling for a family funeral, and during this already difficult time, my stay was significantly disrupted by scheduled maintenance that resulted in the water being shut off without adequate notice. This occurred while I was in the middle of a shower and preparing to attend the funeral service. When I contacted the front desk, I was informed that attempts had been made to notify guests that morning by calling individual rooms. However, I was only out of my room for a short period (0900–1200), and no attempt was made to contact me using the cell phone number I provided at check-in. Additionally, there were no written notices placed in the room beforehand, nor were there visible postings throughout the hotel to inform guests in advance. After receiving the written notice approximately 30 minutes later, I went in person to speak with management regarding the situation. At that time, I was informed that the manager was no longer available, and no alternative resolution or assistance was offered. The written notice stated that this scheduled maintenance did not qualify for compensation; however, it did not accurately reflect that all reasonable efforts were made to notify guests. Because this was scheduled maintenance, the hotel had prior knowledge and ample opportunity to properly inform guests through multiple methods, including advance written notice, signage, and direct contact using provided phone numbers. The lack of adequate communication, combined with the inability to speak with management, caused a significant inconvenience and added stress during an already sensitive and important occasion. The notification efforts made by the hotel fell below reasonable expectations for guest care and service standards. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and that appropriate consideration be given for the disruption caused during my stay.

Beds, lamps, carpenter were really old

Clean, comfortable and affordable

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Free breakfast was good, room was clean and quiet.
