It’s in a good area and they had free breakfast.

The smell of the room was bad. It smelled like pee, dirty. It was worst in the bathroom. The shower curtain, floor and sink didn’t smell clean. I told the lady at the front desk and she said “oh, yeah, it’s because sometimes people are allowed to bring their dogs and they pee all over”.

Comfortable clean room. Wifi good. Breakfast the usual. A luggage rack would be a good addition…no place to open suitcase except desk and we each had one to open/use. Shower pressure is great but be careful of the tub…it’s slippery. I put a towel down for safety. Tiny freezer compartment in mini-frig. Nice little laundry in first floor. 1.50 to wash/1.00 to dry…what a bargain and only steps from our room, 116. Nifty 50’s style diner across the street. Would definitely stay again.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size

Nothing worked. We had to have our electronic keys replaced twice in a two night stay because they didn't work. The safe didn't work and finally someone came on the day we left to change the batteries . There was no housekeeping available. I would never stay there again

Size of room was awesome. Had a roach in the pull out sofa. There was a kitchenette but no utensils, paper towels or plates.

All good no negatives.

This stay began decently thanks to Laura, who was professional and helpful during check-in. Dated decor, decent brealdasr offerings and clean. Unfortunately, everything after that deteriorated significantly.Housekeeping was stated to be daily. On Wednesday, I requested housekeeping by 2:00 PM and no one came. On Thursday, due to the ongoing lack of service, I chose to end my stay early (my reservation was originally through Saturday). I informed the front desk that I was checking out early and that housekeeping was not needed. Despite this, housekeeping entered the room while we were still checked in. Personal food items were discarded even though the room was clearly occupied and orderly. The actual trash was on the floor in the corner of the room and visibly overflowing. Food was organized and separate: Cracker Barrel to-go containers were neatly stacked on the nightstand between the beds. The pancakes were thrown away, yet the syrup bottles placed beside them were left behind, which makes the claim that they were “mistaken for trash” illogical. In addition, a separate bag containing snacks placed above the mini-fridge was also thrown away. The room itself was not properly cleaned — beds were made and towels were replaced, but surfaces were not wiped and toiletries were untouched. Ironically, the only service I had actually needed was trash removal. When I reported the issue, the front desk repeatedly suggested checking the dumpster to retrieve the food. I had to ask multiple times whether that was seriously being proposed, as it was not an appropriate or reasonable solution. Later, the front desk called back and confirmed that housekeeping admitted to throwing the bag away and then offered that the housekeeper could “buy the exact items,” which indicates the bag was inspected and its contents known — further confirming this was not an honest mistake. Finally, I was told that because I booked through Expedia, the hotel could not offer any refund or compensation and instead offered a vague “future credit if I return,” which I declined. That is not a resolution for a current loss or service failure. I was traveling with my five-year-old, and these snacks were intentionally pre-purchased for travel logistics to manage a long travel day and limit stops. Between the missed housekeeping, unauthorized room entry, disposal of personal property, and refusal to provide meaningful compensation, this experience fell well below reasonable hospitality standards and directly led to my early checkout.
