Sheraton Columbia Downtown Hotel

My trip to Columbia, South Carolina was simply wonderful. I had a nice stay at the Sheraton, although based upon my schedule I was no able to enjoy the amenities at the hotel - but I definitely plan to return soon. All of my interactions with the staff were great and although it was a game weekend and the hotel was full, you would have never known it. Everything ran smoothly!

Enjoyed reading the history on the old buildings downtown Columbia. Our corner room on the 9th floor was great, bathroom was spacious, bedding was very comfortable. The Vault Bar downstairs to the right of the check-in desk was a very quaint & intimate setting where we were able to have a couple drinks & play a card game called Russian Bank Friday night. Saturday mornin we were pleasantly surprised by the Soda City Market that shut down 3 blocks of Main street with a Farmers Market, vendors and live music for us to enjoy. It felt like a festival! And we were told it goes on every Saturday, all year long! Our plans only involved a live Jazz nite at The Joint which was a walk 2 blocks down on Main. We will certainly return as soon as we can!

Very nice hotel in the heart of downtown Columbia, SC. Nicely finished clean rooms. Excellent staff. Close to many restaurants, businesses and USC.

Great location. Accommodations were excellent. Clean and updated. Lovely old hotel. Nice for rooftop cocktails and martini bar.

This was a beautiful hotel right in the middle of downtown Columbia, at a surprisingly affordable price. It was perfect for just parking for the weekend and being able to walk to all we were doing downtown. We would stay there again.

Excellent clerks and staff. Horrible accessibility features in our “handicap-accessible room” The bed was nearly 3 feet high! My wife has lost her right leg and is in a wheelchair. How can she — or ANY handicapped person —get into such a bed? Also, breakdown of kitchen machinery in the Starbucks minimized service.

I really enjoyed this hotel, i just had a hard time finding parking but thats because i was not familiar with the area. Otherwise great place in the heart of everything.

The Sheraton Downtown Columbia is always one of my favorite places to stay when in the city. The location is perfect and within walking distance of great restaurants and sights. The staff was professional and helped with all of my needs, such as providing additional towels. It's also a plus that there is a Starbucks right below the hotel.
