Sheraton Columbia Downtown Hotel

This property was an 11 minute walk from the venue of a concert I was in town for. The hotel was initially booked for convenience and I was totally blindsided and inconvenienced upon my arrival.

I paid for my room in advance and got there and still didn’t have one.

Bathroom was exceptional. Bedroom very clean and bed was super thick and comfy.Frontcdesk staff was very friendly. Bartender on the roof was awesome. Food was excellent.

Bedroom oddly configured. Wall mirror wedged bn nightstand and head of bed looking over the pillows.unusable. all night long there was aloud popping noise every 3-7 minutes that woke us up. Like a time click being punched. Not enough drawer space.Dnstrs Lobby was super super cold. Pics of rooftop bar are misleading. It's all permanently enclosed now.

Kind staff, very elegant hotel. Somewhat surprised about the quality being this nice in Columbia, SC.

It was very noisy outside my window. Loud music, cars revving, which is no fault of the hotel or its staff. Maybe better noise canceling products/insulation when doing future renovations? Or maybe thicker windows? My stay was great. That was the only down side.

The location was awesome ….The ease of check in and out took my stay to a new level along with organized valet parking. The rooms were very clean. I loved the amenities and the communication of such. The only negative thing I could say was that the creaking of the floor when I walk around my room was a lil aggravating. Besides that I will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our 3-night stay in this Historic hotel which offered the convenience of downtown. We felt safe and well taken care of by the staff. We enjoyed Club Level with its delicious breakfast and all-day snacks. Cudos to the manager!

Great location..room was very clean but I had to request a chair...there was no chair in the room and no place to sit but on the bed. Also there was no place in the bathroom for putting essential or make up items on or near the sink. Try sparse design
