Select Club at Sandos Playacar All Inclusive - Adults Only Area

I loved the Sandos resort. It was a beautiful property with a scenic walk leading to the beach. The rooms are clean and spacious. The food at the buffet was okay. I didn't try any of the restaurants since there were no reservations. I would stay again and would recommend this hotel.

This is a home away from home, we return year after year and love everyone there. This time we were fortunate to have Zyanya as the PR rep, as part of our Expedia package, and she was absolutely amazing. So gracious, friendly, and kind, and unbelievably helpful whenever we needed anything or had any questions. She is the best and we hope to see her again next summer. Thank you for everything, Zyanya!

Buffet options were great, especially loved the fresh fruit variety. Room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were attentive and bery polite.

It was clean but the workers were not very helpful. We were lied to on more than one occasion. We asked Raul from transportation if he could take me to the Loby instead of leaving me at the shuttle station where the excursion picks up and he said NO that he had something else to take care of. I walked to the Loby and Raul was there hanging out with the luggage guys and 10 minutes later he had his backpack on ready to go home.. On the first day we arrived nothing was explained to us. It was terrible service from the Loby check in man.

Everything was far in the facility. Had to take trolley to go to different places. They only had one trolley. It would get packed and sometimes you have to wait for another one. Usually 20 minutes or more. No dinning options. Could not make reservations. Always booked even though we paid. Staff didn't know how to provide info. place is big and you need directions. staff never gave clear directions. Shower was cold. I spoke to front desk several times. nothing was done. cold shower all day and I had my daughter who had a sore throat.

I don’t have a word to describe how wonderful was my experience in this hotel. Everything was Amazing. I will highly recommend it.

Pools were extremely dirty. No hot water for showers for the 6 days we were there.

I didnt like any of it. Upon arrival the check in girl was rude and made a comment to her friend about us, not knowing I speak Spanish. Then they gave us a room which was not the right room. I payed for a private pool and we did not get that. I asked amd they said the room i wanted sas unavailable unless I took it with no air conditioning. They said if one became available they would let me know, never heard from them. They put my family and I all the way in a corner, far away from everything. The bracelet/key to our room didnt work 3 time's which we had to walk ALL the way to the lobby to get it fixed and in the end it was the door that didnt work. Impossible to make dinner reservations and the food is not good, at all! Bars close very early! Overall not a good experience, would never return to this hotel. Avoid if you can!

It was good but the pool needs to be cleaned more and the staff is to much trying to sell you timeshare. I don’t like that

No hot water in a week, drainage problems in public restrooms, bad building maintenance... a shame..
