TownePlace Suites by Marriott Savannah Airport

Very nice. Close to airport so perfect fir midnight arrival. Water pressure in shower was awesome. Nice size suite with kitchette. Outlets in desk are too loose, couldn’t get a charge

Our room smelled like someone had been previously smoking in it and we are both asthmatic so we found that to be disappointing. There also was no plastic matress cover to protect from bed bugs. The smell iteself was disappointing .

The hotel is under construction but... The hallway smelled so musty like stale water and pet urine. Windows taped up. The bathroom wall had splatter. Toilet seat had blood. Mattress was stained. The girl at counter refused to change room. The Savannah Fire Dept was on scene when we were unpacking Also the carpet was filthy and torn

Our room was quiet & comfortable. The only problem was that there was no hot water the night we checked in, so we couldn't bathe or fully clean our baby's bottles (they provide dish soap in the kitchenette, but hot water is safer than cold). The front desk said it was a problem across the whole hotel & maintenence was working on it. They had it working again when we woke up the next morning. I would've given this stay a higher rating if this didn't happen, hopefully this won't happen during your stay.

When I checked-in online, I confirmed that I need a regular cleaning in my room. It did not happen until I talked to the reception. She told it was refreshed, I told her not. Only 1 small shampoo, small facial soap and tiny bath soap. I asked in the app to give me, when I checked in the app, the request was done but nothing delivered to my room. On my second week, the room was cleaned but the towels were not replaced, including the bathmat, and no soap and shampoo. This is not Marriott hotel.

We were greeted with an indifferent attitude. I stayed with my family in this hotel and the rooms (both in the 1st floor) were filthy, had stains, and mildew. Were given incorrect room and the front desk employee responded 'Do you need it?' Then she called and said that she would give me another guests room in another floor away from my family, but I needed to hurry before the guests got there! The sofa/bed mattress had what it looked and smelled like feces stains. There was a dirty towel hanging from the bathroom door. There was old paste in the bathroom sink. Kitchen cabinets were dirty. The mirror had what it looked like mildew around it. The furniture handles and chair had rust all over.

Walking into this hotel, there was a “smell”. Our room needed a good cleaning. While we had clean towels, housekeeping missed some dirty towels from the previous guest, which led us to think the bare minimum was done before our stay. Looking at the baseboard, trim, vents, and top of the fridge they haven’t been cleaned in a while. The carpet was torn in spots and FILTHY. We wore our shoes until we went to bed. The carpet either needs to be replaced, or thoroughly cleaned. The doors are quite beefy, but didn’t help to block out the noise. Breakfast was ok. We have stayed at many Marriott hotels in recent months, and the breakfasts haven’t been as great as we remembered. We would not stay here again.

Located in the charming city of Pooler, just a short drive from Savannah, this hotel offers a comfortable and convenient stay for both business and leisure travelers. It was easy to find and was near a light so getting in and out of the property was relatively easy. The staff was friendly. The area was nice with a waffle house right across the street. The room was nicely appointed and the grounds, hotel, and room were kept clean and tidy. Overall, I highly recommend the TownePlace Suites in Pooler, Georgia. With its extensive presence across the United States, commitment to providing a home-like experience, and convenient location in Georgia, it is an excellent choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
