Extended Stay America Suites - Sacramento - Elk Grove

The room did have a full kitchen with fridge. The hotel had a washer and dryers on site. The lobby area was nice.

Our room had a smell. The beds were very uncomfortable. The room was old looking.

I love the staff and location

The location is convenient.

We called to let them know we would be checking in between 12-1am. They acted like it didn’t matter. When we arrived they told us the system was performing a “night audit” and we either had to wait 1-1.5 hours to check in our leave them an ID & CC… and come back down when the “nightly night audit” was complete to check in. We had to stay up for another 1.5 hours! Then they still messed up and only charged my CC for 1 night, so they called the room at 2am, waking everyone up! In addition, the beds are spring style bed that are squeaky & SMALL (double/full).

The two main items I appreciated were the friendliness of the staff as well as the cleanliness of the room.

I stayed in the queen suite. The bed was not comfortable and shampoo/soap items were only available upon request from the front desk. (I didn't know this until I was already in the room.) Breakfast items included was an option of 2 flavors of Nutrigrain Bars and coffee. This did not match the description on booking.com. I had a late check out at noon however my key still deactivated at 11a. After running a 10K race that morning and coming back to relax before check out it was not convenient to head back down to the front desk to get my key re-activated.

It was next to a Starbucks.

I did not like there was no breakfast when clearly the reception said they’re was. The detergent purchase only took cash not card, so I was short by one quarter and the reception said no. The bed was so hard couldn’t sleep comfortably.
