Need more variety of food.

Arrival - Trash all over the property. Front desk attendant was cold. Perhaps don't be in a hospitality role if you're not hospitable? Attendant was curt in all communication. Hotel was beat and worn. Dirty carpets in the hallways, trash laying around, walls were gross with unknown substance on them, black 6" - 8" hairs in tub (I'm bald, wife is blonde, not ours), the list goes on. Why am I subjected to a deposit and pet fee when the grounds are not fit for a dog to use (basically no grass, just a bunch of rocks, dead weeds, and trash)? I stayed at several La Quintas on this trip (booked weeks in advance) and they have cemented the idea that I'll not stay with them again. La Quintas are worn out and trashed. I'm done with them.

If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I would. I had a reservation and was on my way to the hotel when I was delayed for hours by an accident in the construction zone on I-95. I was traveling from out of state, about 500 miles from home, and my phone service was intermittent during the trip. When I finally arrived around 3:00 a.m., I was told my reservation had been canceled because I missed the check-in hours. This left my family and me stranded in the middle of the night with nowhere to stay. The frustrating part is that the front desk told me they still had vacancies, and that my original room was still empty. However, they said it was not their policy to book a room for someone walking in, and that I would have to make a new reservation. They then said they could offer me an early check-in at 11:00 a.m. for an additional fee, and suggesting that my family and I sleep in our car for the next eight hours. It is also worth noting that their own policy says "check-in starts at 3:00 p.m.," and clearly says "does not end".
