Residence Inn Phoenix North Happy Valley

This is possibly the worst hotel that I have stayed in in a very long time. I was here for seven nights. The hotel hallways are filthy an littered with trash. They smell late in the day when the heat warms up whatever has been left discarded in the hall. I had no hot water for two days and then the water was so hot it burned when you turned it on. Housekeeping was sporadic at best. Some days they showed up, some days they did not. The rooms are worn out and beat up. We also had a dog barking continuously in the room down the hall. Finally, the breakfast is inedible. My husband has very high status in the bonvoy program and this stay might have him rethinking his future hotel stays. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here!

Front desk staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and very accommodating.

My stay was on a holiday weekend so even though it seemed a bit pricey I suppose this is to be expected. I was in town for business and was relieved to find out that they had an overnight security detail that patrols the parking areas as I had many valuables that I was forced to leave with my vehicle. Room was excellent. Clean, comfortable mattress, etc. Staff was very friendly as well. Would definitely stay at this location again.

The location needs work and the Wi-Fi is a serious issue

I was very pleased with my stay. Upon check-in, the staff was friendly & made me feel welcomed. The room was very clean & spacious. The breakfast was decent but not much of a variety such as waffles or pancakes. Overall, I was satisfied & would stay here again.

Staff was friendly and very helpful, room was very comfortable. Bed was a little firm, but overall great place to stay. It was a very good location for our visit, took many day trips out to the North and West, it was a great location for those day trips, easy access to the I17 and other roads with scenic drives.
