It’s a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location.

The alarm clock in our room was not turned off prior to our check in so the first morning we were rudely awakened at 6 am. When I later mentioned this to the front desk staff at checkout, they said there was no alarm in the room besides the fire alarm (until another staff member came and corrected them). There was no apology or seemingly any care about the situation.

If one can do without the hustle and bustle of Whistler Village then the Nita Lake Lodge at Creekside is your place. Off the beaten path in a quaint, picturesque setting. Laid back luxury with all the amenities you’d expect from a Michelin-awarded hotel. From hands-on management to front desk to housekeeping, the entire staff is SUPER friendly and personable. On-site food and restaurant choices are absolute on par with what else Whistler has to offer. The lounge is the perfect hang-out Après ski or after dinner or anytime on an iffy-weather day. The off-site ski locker room, just five minutes on foot, or two by hotel shuttle is found just some steps away from the Creekside gondola, which is a plus at the end of the ski-day. If one is looking for casual luxury and can do without the Ritz(y) - pun intended - of other high-end accommodations, the Nita Lake Lodge is your place. PS: One would not want to miss the pop-up cheese fondue hosted by French'eese Fridays to Sundays inside the Fix Café. BEST cheese fondue, period.
