Villa Calipso

Location

1/ bathroom - toilet is wedged in a corner by the sink and bidet. So difficult to sit and do. I am sure proper code is not followed. 2/ no Kleenex or tissue. 3/ Tiny piece of soap 4/ Tiny bottle of shampoo. 5/ Breakfast - meager food and poor selection. Cold coffee. 6/ staff is condescending.

A very large room, state-of-the-art TV, free parking nearby.

What is advertised as a private beach is actually free access with an umbrella and sunbeds at a nearby beach resort. Although the room was very large, the price was excessive for the area in October: we booked thinking it was a high-end hotel.

It’s clean, friendly staff, comfortable, utilities were good.

Breakfast could be better.

Room a little dark but not a huge problem.

We spent one night with our dog in this beautiful villa in Mondello, near the beach. The room was upstairs ( a bit uncomfortable for one night), but bed an bathroom were splendid. In the morning a fantastic breakfast with very tasty Cappucino and local cakes/ sweets/ hearty choices. Very friendly staff, Carla was very helpful as she served breakfast at 7 am as we had to catch the ferry. Absolute recommendation.
