WaterSound Inn

Loved the location and the suite was perfect for 3-4 people. Elevator didn’t work the entire time we were there and no additional staff to help carry bags, or any kind of concession to the rate for the inconvenience of having to carry all of our bags/food/toys, up and down the stairs on arrival and departure. Daughter fell in the stairwell and chipped her tooth. Yes, accidents happen, but tired kids in flip flops having to go up and down concrete stairs, add to the odds of these types of accidents happening. Again, no warning or concessions, made that even harder to swallow. The condo itself was very nice. The staff at the inn, not so much. Remarkably unpleasant. Beach club is close by and the staff there are incredibly nice, which helped soften the experience. We usually stay in Watercolor, but I enjoyed the less hectic vibe at Watersound. If the inn can get a bit of customer service training, I think it could live up to, and probably exceed the expectations I had.

overall experience if wonderful. beach club and reserved beach access is great for families. quieter than watercolor which we love but close to everything we want to do. the pullout beds could use some updating. but our kids never mind.

30A is known for their crowd but watersound inn did such an excellent job making sure you get the full 30A FL vacation experience (plus more with their tennis and golf courts) in the best way possible without feeling crowded! from all of the happy and helpful staff members and best pizza we tasted to the two guys in the water looking out for everyone’s safety. our first florida vacation couldn’t have gotten any better! book the hotel- you will absolutely love the experience and their hospitality!!! 🫧🐚🩵⚓️

Beach club doesn’t have breakfast, so have to drive somewhere for breakfast. All seating is outside but pricing is very reasonable.

Watersound Inn was overall the best experience for our family! We couldn't have asked for a better location, resort and overall friendliest staff to accommodate us! Thank you for the bottom of our hearts for giving a life long memory to us!

Outstanding experience.

guests could rent if they wanted the house experience but still wanted to use the club amenities. Some other high end resorts do that and it seems to work well.

Inn is very clean. Rooms are spacious, comfortable bed and we liked having a kitchen and washer dryer in unit. Having access to the Watersound Beach Club is the best thing about the Inn. 5 minute walk to the club which had an amazing private beach with chair/towel/umbrella service, two pools and very good food. Would definitely return.

Excellent location, services and accommodations. We have stayed at this property many times and cannot say enough about it.
