Extended Stay America Suites - Champaign - Urbana

The grounds was very unkept, which should’ve been an indication to the inside. Carpet throughout needed to be replaced or deep cleaned. Our kitchenette did not come with any items. We would’ve had to obtain anything from the front desk. Wi-Fi was good as was the cable. Overall, a very low in facility will not stay again.

Walmart, Target, Minards and three bus stops are close by. Very quiet location. Room was very spacious. Mostly cooked breakfast and dinner in the room using the kitchen ware, cook top, microwave and fridge available in the room. Got the groceries from the supermarkets. Reasonable washing machine usage fee. The staff was very helpful. Addressed all our queries with patience.

Complimentary breakfast is a complete disappointment. They should stop saying they offer one. Some ready packets of dry oats, black coffee, packed muffins and some iced tea or coffee options were kept on a trolley. It's like grab a thing on the run rather than a breakfast. It was hot weather when I stayed there. AC was not working very well. I didn't bother much about it though.

I thought this place would be better than before but I think it was either the same or worse. My roon was not clean and there may still be a stick of Blistex in the night stand. It came with the room. There were men out front asking guests to give them a ride somewhere. There were people loitering at the side door smoking wherever they could. At times, i just entered the front door because I felt a little safer. People are actually living in the establishment which makes it inconvenient for out of town guests. I did not feel safe. I don't think I will be staying there again.

very dirty, hair in the room, bug like Cockroaches were in the bathroom. Loud noise all night, that i could not sleep all night.

I stay here often when I see my daughter at college. I’m never disappointed.

Staff polite

Dirty clothing left in the drawers from the previous occupant. That means that housekeeping did not do a thorough job with cleaning after the last person checked out.
