Skeabost House Hotel

Lovely tranquil location. So peaceful.. Nicely decorated rooms & comfy sofas to relax on. Not forgetting the fab whisky flight choices.

This is a very comfortable hotel with excellent dining. The food we had in the restaurant in the evening was superb. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had variety (hot and cold) and plentiful. Nothing was too much bother for the staff. The standard of room and public area cleanliness was very good. The grounds are beautiful and you do feel you are pampering yourself. The weather was against us but there was a lovely fire lit in the lounge. The bar was a tad chilly though but sit by the fire and it is cosy. We went during winter/spring season so it was quiet. We took up an offer so I think we did get value for money. If we came to Skye again, we would consider staying here. However, I am not sure I would bother with the room with Seaview unless you can guarantee use of the external space. I had booked it as my husband is an avid photographer so had there been clear skies, he might have set up the tripod to get some pics and possibly even some Aurora pics. I think the bigger rooms are upstairs within the main house and I would more than likely book those.

Common areas were excellent. The breakfast was very good too that allowed some flexibility. All of the staff were very attentive.

Such a beautiful property outside and a fantastic setting with it being on a loch. As a suggestion, a garden area with seating, fire pit, etc to enjoy the day and night sky would be a differentiator.

Love the accommodation, gives a vibe of calm, quietness and coziness as well as a castle looking like feel. Room is very comfortable, with nice shower and nice bed. The service staff are all very polite and awesome. Pretty nice breakfast served there. Wish we have stayed longer at this accommodation!

Has the most amazing stay. We stayed in a garden room as we had our dog with us. Lovely little room, huge comfy bed and lovely shower. Everything little detail is catered for, nice toiletries, dressing gowns and nice refreshments. We ate in the restaurant and I can honestly say it was the best meal ive ever had, our compliments to the chef. All the staff were lovely, helpful and warm. Nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou so much for a delightful stay
