Griso Collection Hotel

No room service or dinner option. Restaurant was closed for an event. Carpets need to be replaced. Balconies are not private.

We were travel by train n taxi to reach the property, no travel support between train stations n hotel. The property is next to the lake quite side, walking 10 mins to some nice restaurants Shuttle bus was available to Bellagio The property was a bit old n some upgrade are undergoing. We were happy to stay in this hotel

Views are amazing. Love the hotel but the hot tub was not hot. Too bad because a rooftop soak would have been nice.

The view from the balcony is breathtaking. It’s a comfortable 15 min walk to the centre of Lecco. The staff on reception were very helpful and pleasant.

Stuff was nice, but they needed to be a little bit more informative. For example, they didn’t tell us how to work the lights. Which needed a key. They needed to be a little bit more explanatory when it came to everything on the premises. Restaurant was excellent. Staff was very attentive.

This review covers 2 nights at the hotel. We had to book 2 separate rooms as the type we wanted was only available for the 2nd night. Key point: book a room in the refurbished/new part of the hotel. Our night 2 room was excellent. It even had a sauna in the room! A huge very comfortable bed and great lake view. And an amazing breakfast - just huge selection of things (sweet things like cakes - not so much on the cooked "front". But night 1 was very poor. A disinterested person at check-in and a very "tired" (albeit huge) room with a dripping shower. It was cheap. But when we realised that the one or two ants that we saw in the room turned out to be hundreds in various places we had to ask for a change of room. Which was agreed - and was a small taste of what was to come on night 2. A refurbished room that was so much better than the first one in every way. The hotel is in between 2 roads. We arrived at it on what is an urban dual carriageway. Reception is more like an office building reception than a hotel. Combined, those 2 things put us off to start with even before the ants. However we later foound the other road, beside Lake Como and which brings you in via the new side. A completely different impression is given. We would certainly stay there again - but only in certain rooms. Oh, and BTW, the view from the dining room over Como is superb. Hghly recommended. Unlike the view from the bar - of the dual carraigeway!

This was a great place to stay if you want to be in a quieter scenic area. It was not in the center of town, but was easily walkable along the lake. It took an average of 15-20 min walk to get to the Ferris wheel in Lecco and it was a 25-30 min walk to the main Lecco train station. The room in the hotel was clean and the restaurant had great dinner options!

This was a lovely hotel and we really enjoyed our weekend away….. only a few issues that made it a bit more difficult….. our room was very far from the entrance and the location of the hotel was okay, about a 15/20 min walk to the ferry port and 15/20 min walk to the train station so when it rained it was quite a treck! we loved the hotel overall and the breakfast was wonderful with a stunning view of the lake however in the evening there was limited options for food in the hotel and it was extremely expensive, really enjoyed our stay and thank you to griso staff for being so welcoming!

The breakfast was really nice with beautiful view of Lake Como. my room was so loud with the noise of the highway, couldn't sleep. the staffs were very nice.
