"Quick Trip, but a Great Stay"

This stay was ok, but there are definitely some improvements that need to be made. I work at the KCI Expo Center several times a year and after this stay, I would not book this property even though it is right next door. Breakfast - to charge at all for this should be embarrassing. The food was not stocked and wasn't really good either. It took too long to get helped with coffee and water. The coffee out in the lobby was cold. After the experience with breakfast we decided that the restaurant on property wasn't worth the risk. The bathroom in our room needed to be updated. The shower was low pressure and had to be fixed the first day. They did that though and it was mostly good to go after that. The staff are friendly and cordial and the bar was great! The bar actually saved the whole experience for us. Liz is awesome! The location near the airport worked out great for our early flight out on Sunday. Unfortunately, the location isn't the best for going out and finding food nearby. This is where better on site amenities would have been nice. Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful except for being understaffed at breakfast.
