Holiday Inn Houma by IHG

I stay here frequently and have nothing but glowing comments for the staff with one exception, and that’s Trineice. It’s common for her to not say one word to me while checking in, which is always awkward. And when I come through the lobby she is normally on her phone and never looks up. Everyone else there goes out of their way to make me feel at home except for her, and she’s the reason I cant quite give the hotel five stars.

Needs simple maintenance. Ceiling Fan Control Knob Didn’t work. Toilet seat loose. Flush handle on toilet loose. Lost power on one wall in room, lost power to C-Pap machine @ 2:00 am Miserable!!!

For $125 per night I expected if not a hot breakfast at least some pastries. They offered nothing.

The hotel was very clean and the staff very courteous! My view faced the front— I’m not sure that was any better than looking at the back of the hotel. Limited healthy choices in the breakfast menu— would like to see more.

Nice hotel like that they have ceiling fan in the room.

Was good. Only downfall was the darkening curtains didn’t have hooks on a few and maintenance could not fix them. Stated room was locked.....we had to use the hangers from the closet to fix them

Stay here often for business. Great location in proximity to my job. Nice staff with a great breakfast. Nice comfortable rooms! Look forward to staying here again in the near future.

Check in was easy and front desk staff were friendly and professional. Room was clean and bed and pillows were comfortable. Housekeeping was friendly. Breakfast was good and fruits were left out Day and night for a snack. Would definitely stay here again when working the area.

Everyone at the service desk were very friendly. They were a great help to us always with a smile. Rebah Ward deserves commendation because of her friendliness and caring attitude. She made us feel at home.

This hotel is clean, nice exterior appearance with ample free parking. It is surrounded by various eating establishments that will fit every taste. Two large shopping centers are within 5 min drive of hotel's front door. Staff at the hotel are friendly and will put themselves out to care for your needs. Rooms are clean and bathrooms were large. The ice machines are located on each floor in an enclosed glass room which reduces noise when machine is being used. Very helpful when you are trying to sleep. The only down point is closets are small and in a corner near the bed. If someone has to enter closet while another family member is sleeping best wishes.
