We the the updates that the place had.

Breakfasts were excellent. Loved the scones and the yogurt. Omelets were delicious! We liked the honor bar (which we did not use) and the free water and soft drinks. Hosts were lovely and very friendly and accommodating. We liked the location in the Virginia horse country, near DC and yet in a nice rural setting. The room was great, large and spacious with an enormous bathroom.

The only thing that we did not like was the bed was a bit too soft for us but that is certainly a matter of personal preference and not the fault of the hosts.

Very courteous staff, really friendly innkeepers. Would be happy to stay here again!

Wonderful place to stay!! Very beautiful and the owners were very friendly! Room was clean! We came in the off season and had the place to ourselves!

Very friendly owners. Excellent breakfast. My wife is vegan, they made sure to prepare a vegan breakfast for her. They make the best pancake I’ve ever eaten!! I highly recommend!

Wow. What a history. This building is amazing. It’s very well maintained. The grounds are breathtaking.

If you want to feel like a Queen or your daughter to feel like a princess this is the place to make all those dreams come true! The breakfast was amazing! Pool table room was fun and the largest DVD collection ever! We loved the big jacuzzi tub too! Beautiful outdoor patio/garden! We will definitely stay here again when we need to relax and get away from it all! Hosts are so kind and welcoming! We would like to experience this again in the winter when all the fireplaces are going.
