Embassy Suites by Hilton Norman Hotel & Conference Center

This hotel has gone down hill in terms of cleanliness & the environment. The short experience made my family of 6 feel uncomfortable & unsafe. We checked in Friday the 28th, no problem at all…then left to go tour the college with my teenage daughters. We also had tickets to Saturday’s OU/LSU game, which we were looking forward to. After we arrived back to the hotel, I showered & got into my bed only to discover (1) Smelled like urine, and (2) it was wet. I was shocked that the bed that was made & appeared clean had urine in it. We called downstairs & the customer service receptionist felt awful and immediately sent us keys to a new room, 4 floors up. When we arrived at our new room on the 8th floor, we opened up the sofa bed & I am not kidding you, there was a maggot on the sheet. Disgusting is an understatement. My 4 daughters started to feel uncomfortable & my poor husband wanted to head to the airport to get back home. All this to say, this was just an unprofessionally kept hotel. I did notice many worn out crevices in the room, duct tape on the carpet an overall worn & dated appearance. I can overlook some of that as long as the rooms feel clean. But now in hindsight, this uncleanliness is a reflection of how awfully managed the rooms are. If there’s maggots on the sheets & urine on the bed, what else are they mismanaging? After we found the maggot in the bed, we had to make some phone calls at 11 PM and try to find another room in the area. The lady at the front desk when we call down to let her know about the maggot was obviously a bit concerned, but what could she do at that point. She understood that we had to leave. Nothing else was done to rectify the situation in terms of talking to a general manager or speaking to someone who is in charge that can make this right. If you look at my previous review of this hotel back in 2011, you can tell that I am an honest and truthful with my words. That hotel state was a five star experience compared to this one. I also want to warn people to please be careful when booking this hotel if you’re looking for a clean experience. I also want to say that apparently vaping is allowed in the lobby & some of the communal areas where they have pool tables and foosball. I will also say that with a family of six, we’re constantly making core memories as we travel around the world, unfortunately, this experience is not a good one and I fear they will not forget it.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff! Rooms were clean and breakfast had many options.

Yes, we stayed there. Everything was clean. The receptionist deck was nice and we needed some stuff from housekeeping and Alyssa brought it up very promptly faster than any housekeeping service I’ve ever had.

Room was disgusting elevator broke kid and a man stuck in it food looked old on breakfast bar

Food presentation horrible, elevators wasn’t working people got stuck in them only one working was working people crammed into the one which gave me an anxiety attack had to walk up 9 flights of stairs called booking

I like the fact they have big drinks, swimming pool and a hot tub and a workout room and they have wonderful breakfast

I don’t like the fact that they charge you to park in their parking lot that’s focus, especially for the price for paying for the room

Access to food and shopping across street Open space nice people

Smoking section so close to front door and the rentable scooter are pulled up next to bench. Due to small sidewalks riding them was dangerous
