Holiday Inn Express & Suites East Wichita I-35 Andover by IHG

The hotel really needs updating. The elevator and halls were 100 degrees. The room was just as hot. It took the AC hours to cool the room off. I have always had great experiences at Holiday Inn Express Hotels. I will not rely on the brand again.

shower tub faucet too loose or part off sink drainage leaking water over floor need to have tub rug almost fell diwn or slippery crazy.... dining room windows are too dirty

This place is terrible and Holiday Inn Express should immediately remove their name from this hotel. We stayed a year ago, when they were supposedly renovating, and yet it’s been a year and they still aren’t done ‘renovating’. The hallways were so blazing hot. When we checked in they raced upstairs to turn on the AC in our room so it was blazing hot in our room. The AC never did cool down and sounded like it was ready to explode all night long. The bathroom looked like an amateur tried to ‘fix’ things because the bathtub fixtures were separated from the wall, can’t wait until they have mold and water problems with that, the sink drain plug was missing and you could tell things had been pulled off the wall. We stayed here for location convenience but never again. Go someplace else!

Conveniently located with good dining choices nearby

The heat was on in the hallways. There was no staff working the desk this morning. The breakfast was burned or hit made. The trash was overflowing in the dining area. It was not a good experience at all.

With the exception of the front desk receptionist everything about this hotel was disgusting and disappointing. Where do I start. Any positive reviews (which is why we booked) have got to be bots or bought. We got to the room and the door was propped open, the gentleman at the front desk said it looked clean and it was the only room available. While none of what happened was his fault the sanitary factor is highly in question. There was dirty stuff marks everywhere, broken tiles, the bathroom door was gross and didn't close, there was no working tv/ cable, they ran out of pillows, and there was dirt everywhere. Let's not bypass the gaping hole in the ceiling by the elevator or the parade of dirty doors and noxious smell. Please please do not stay here it was really unsanitary and uncomfortable. Save your time, stress, and money. We have always stayed at holiday inns but I will no longer because of this one. To have people pay for such an unsanitary room should be embarrassing to holiday inn. Do better.

So, we reserved a one night stay online through hotels.com. I paid in full for this because I used my one key cash & paid the remainder. Checked out at 5 am on Friday and as of 3 days later, they're running my card used for incidentals multiple times a day for the full one night stay that was already paid for.
