The staff were great, very friendly and very accommodating. The inn was beautiful, very clean, and they had cookies, snacks and coffee in the main sitting room 24/7. When I say sitting room, that’s exactly what it was, from the outside you would never know what a gem this place really is. The breakfast was awesome, starting every morning with a bowl of fresh fruit, to waffles, pancakes, eggs and more, cooked however you like, plus you’re not limited to only ordering one thing from the menu, and it’s all included in your stay. I would recommend the Blackberry River Inn to anyone looking for a nice, cozy quiet place to stay.

Our fifth stay at this charming historic inn. Innkeeper Lucas is gracious and thoughtful. The Yale Chamber Music Festival is just down the road. The area is one of the loveliest in New England.
