This is my second stay at the Carriage House of the Blackberry River Inn. My room this time was closer to the street, so I noticed more traffic sounds, but not disrupting. The main inn is quaint and welcoming. The staff are wonderful. The breakfast menu, room, and help are spectacular!

The hotel is located in a very quiet area and the breakfast was wonderful. There was only chair in the room so only one person can sit on the chair and the second person could sit on the bed. If one more chair in the room would be very helpful.

Such a cute property and staff were amazing. Old vicitorian property. Breakfast was great, and all the staff were super nice. Not within walking distance of anything, but Norfolk is less than a 5 minute drive. Would stay there again.

The service was impeccable: friendly, thoughtful and the best waffles ever- so light and fresh. Loved the chocolate kisses everywhere. The cookies not so much. Our stay would have been perfect had it not been for the couple in the next room frequently yelling at one another with obscene language, doors slamming, and a small yapping dog - not the hotel's fault at all.
