Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tulsa S Broken Arrow Hwy 51 by IHG

Clean and good location.

I am giving this hotel one star but wish it could be zero. We tried to stay here twice. The first time was on a cross country trip out to California as a stop to see friends in Broken Arrow. When we first checked in, we questioned the high price for the room and if there was a reason it was so high. Daniel Wilson(front office manager) replied very curtly with “that is just what the rates are”. He also dismissed us with “if you don’t want to stay here, you don’t have to.” As a customer, I find that very rude. Military discount was also not an option according to him, although at every other hotel we stayed in we were able to use the discount. On this trip we stayed in many Holiday Inn Express & Suites and this was the worst! Breakfast was horrible compared to others. The second time we tried to stay, I had made a reservation as we were celebrating the 4th of July with friends in the area on the way back from California. This was our last hotel stay on the trip. We arrived at 1:30pm and again Daniel Wilson was at the desk. When asked if the room was ready, he said yes, but it would be a $30 early check in fee. My husband questioned it and said it was ridiculous. Daniel said that if we were members we could check in early for free. This was when my husband said “Oh that is the ploy. They want us to sign up to be members or we have to pay more.” This was when Daniel again said, “well I can cancel your reservation if you don’t want to stay here.” We wouldn’t have made the reservation if we didn’t want to stay there. This is also when Daniel said that my husband was back talking him, like he was a child. We were simply questioning a policy that we felt was ridiculous - if the room is ready we should be able to check in, plain and simple. Daniel then said that he was cancelling our reservation and not allowing us to stay. This actually worked out the best for us, as there is a Towneplace Suites by Marriott right next door in the same parking lot where they let us check in for free and was cheaper with a more equipped room! Thank you Daniel for being so rude and making it so that we may never stay at a Holiday Inn and Suites again.

Exactly as advertised. No surprises. The pool was clean and well maintained and my family enjoyed the miniature gold

The entire process of checking in to checking out was great. The mini putt putt course was great. The pool was great. The family suite was super amazing. Great time and can’t wait to come back

It was a good stay. The air conditioning seemed a little off- either too cold or not enough of cool air. But otherwise it was a good stay.

Excellent rooms. Well laid out.

It was easy access to the interstate, very clean, felt very safe, I would definitely recommend
