Aleenta Hua Hin - Pranburi

Great and super relaxing place!!! The only thing of concern is the location from Hua Hin is far (about 30 km) and the hotel does not provide free shuttle service. So for the customers to get there without driving have to take a taxi.

A good distance away from the hustle and bustle of Hua Hin proper, you will need a motorbike or car to get around unless you are okay relying on the hotels decent but rather expensive restaurant. The facilities are adequate and well maintained, but this is really best suited to those wishing to spend time alone and not needing much in the way of entertainment. Spa and restaurant services are very good and staff are well trained and attentive. Good kite boarding facilities nearby. The beach is quite decent when the wind is blowing from the south other than October through February when the winds are from the north and the sea is up against the breakwater all day, and the beach all but disappears.

We spent our one year wedding anniversary at the beachfront pool residence. The room was airy, spacious and the view in front of us was just so beautiful. Beach access right in front of our room with a cute hammock, sun beds and a plunge pool. The private beach candle light dining under a beautiful canopy was absolutely memorable and stunning! We miss Aleenta Hua Hin already and would love to be back soon!

I could say never go here and try and keep the Aleenta one of those hidden gems..But after the bustle of Bangkok this couldn't have been better.. The Frangipani rooms although a short walk from the main reception and restaurant they have amazing ocean views across the direct access infinity pool. The beach is 10 meters from your room and what better way than to stroll down the beach paddling in the sea to breakfast or dinner and an even more romantic walk back. When you return on an evening your room had been turned down. Hire a Moto scooter from Mr Moo and be certain to have a massage at the half moon. Here they can organise trips, taxis etc, head south to Dolphin Bay and beyond on your scooter and savour all thie natural beauty thus coastline has to offer. Next to the Half Moon there's Kite Surfing .. Ian an English guy and his family will look after you, have a go if the conditions are good, these guys are experts in marking you feel at ease and they'll have you hooked.

Great place, especially sea view rooms. Only thing to add would be a comfortable sitting chair. There was confusion with the room at first, but staff put me in right room with some dialogue. Good food carefully selected, though a bit pricey. A great place if you want away from crowds or if you have your own transport. Despite name, it's not in Hua Hin though

September 27th at the beautiful and secluded Aleenta Resort in Pranburi, Thailand. A nice romantic candle-lit dinner for two under the stars on the edge of the Gulf of Thailand. The water illuminated by the green lights of squid fishing boats all along the coast. Lighting flashes over the water in the distance. Our dinner prepared by the kitchen of Michelin chef, James Noble. The moment was perfect, the ring was pulled out of the pocket, and I asked Vicky to be my "phanrayaa". To my delight she smiled shyly and answered "YES!" A night we'll never forget! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Aleenta. The staff was very courteous, the grounds were beautiful, and everything was top-notch. And we absolutely loved the beach-front cottage with an incredibly comfortable bed, a nice hammock on the porch, and a private jacuzzi. We can't wait to return!

The room was nice but little bit too dark, I can't read my book. Our room had a problem with loud air-condition and hot water. We asked maintenance to fix the water but it still running cold.
