Aleenta Hua Hin - Pranburi

Good place to stay for a quiet getaway. Recommend the Palm Pool Residence.

Aleenta deserves 5 stars for its excellent environmentally conscientious approach to the operation of this hotel resort business. It is an excellent retreat for couples or individuals. The location is again 5 star, on the beach - you can't beat that. Incredible views. The management and staff I interacted with are 5 star and were very helpful in all aspects. I would caution families with young children to do your due diligence before booking. Make sure you are going to get the room you were expecting and be aware that this is a small exclusive hotel resort that cannot be all things to everyone so be prepared to compromise a little and you will have a wonderful holiday. James, the manager, lives up to the wonderful praise you will see in many reviews. A consummate professional and a gentleman, a tremendous positive influence on this resort. His colleague Jump, is clearly following in the same mould. There are some small issues that need to be addressed but these are deferred for obvious reasons. The tiling in the pool at the Frangipani Wing needs repairing but is not unsafe. Just wear and tear and it's a big job to close the pool and complete this work during a busy season. Reception staff need a little bit more training and strengthening English language skills would be a big plus. Otherwise, the quality is there. An excellent resort where you know the staff and management's heart is entrenched. A rare find in Thailand.

Dislikes: - Hotel separated into 2 wings requiring shuttle to get to breakfast. And parking lot is in a 3rd location. - Room not connected to pool despite hotel website claiming all rooms have direct access to pool. - Nothing much around hotel. - No TV in room. Likes: - Private spacious patio facing ocean view. - Beach just steps away. - Huge bathroom with steamy hot shower. - Tasteful design. - Super delicious Ley Cafe in front of hotel.

Amazing location, great service, secluded.5 Star!

A perfect get away from it all location. Quiet and unspoilt. the hotel is small and provides high quality service and amenities on a lovely beach side location. Not for those who want night life and excitement, but ideal for honeymooners or anyone who wants to chill relax and re charge thier batteries. The food was great, for breakfast lunch or dinner, both european and asian cuisine availableThe spa provided top quality therapists.The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommended. Our only gripe - minor works were being carried out in the restaurant for our week's stay and the manager failed to make an appearance and discuss the inconvenience or apologise for the disruption. Which slightly tainted an otherwise wonderful experience.

Not up to standard in any aspect. My room had no plunge pool, was at best spartan inside. A table, two chairs and a wardrobe, that's all. A dreary IPod dock and an hair-dryer(broken). The sea view was obscured by the two properties in front, and the main pool is a 200 meter walk up the beach, and not worth the walk anyway. The beach is nice, though spoiled by a pack of wild dogs, who use it as a toilet. The location is remote, there is very little to do outside the hotel. Pricey, pretentious and dull. Much better and cheaper hotels are available in the area, choose this one for one or two nights only, and spend the rest or your holiday seeing Thailand.

Our room at Aleentha was a wonderfully tranquil, relaxing seaside escape. Do not expect much to do here because the hotel is quite isolated, a half hour by car from Hua Hin.

Aleenta is a getaway dream for couples looking to avoid an ugly tourist crowd/atmosphere. Serene, rural and with enough to do without all the anxiety of feeling the need to 'do more' with the vacation - I would recommend Aleenta Pranburi to all forms of travellers hoping to experience real Thailand.Tip: pack a picnic and the helpful staff will make it a dream with any of multiple lovely locations close by! My wife was overjoyed.

Have stayed at Aleenta a few times now, I love the area and it's a perfect place if you really want to relax. The hotel and the service cannot be faulted.
