Holiday Inn Express Tehachapi by IHG

I liked the location, it was close to family that I was visiting, the very friendly staff, and even the mattress was comfortable, but that's probably about it.

Pillows were lumpy and flat, misc. defects, rope light above the headboard was broken, but the worst offender was the very STINKY and not maintained washer / dryer. TWO DOLLARS per load, to wash, same to dry.. ONE dollar for a tide pod and ONE more dollar for a dryer sheet.. and MY CLOTHES CAME OUT SMELLING WORSE. I not only had to pack these disgusting smelling clothes now, but drive home with them like this, wearing days old clothes that we didn't put in the wash. We had to wash them TWICE at home, 8 hour drive later, just to remove the lingering smell from their poorly maintained washer.

Girl at front desk very disinterested and not friendly. She checked us out without ever greeting or looking at us. I asked her for the downstairs bathroom key and she rolled her eyes and sighed because she had to get up to open the door

Suitable hotel, with good facilities and breakfast

Very poor customer service. Told me that I should have never booked via Booking.com if I wanted a double queen bedroom. I should have booked directly on their website. I didn’t want a king bed since was travelling with my friend. I proposed a paid upgrade or whatever solution. They told me that if I was not happy, I should find another hotel and lose my booking. This is the poorest customer experience I ever faced. Because I was a “booking.com” customer, they can’t do anything for me …

Property is off the main highway for a quiet night’s sleep. Two options for evening meal across the street with more options a short distance in town. Gas station across the street with a less expensive option if you are heading west at the next off ramp.

Grande chambre, lits confort+++, petit-déjeuner nickel, bonne localisation pour une étape, très propre, parking facile.

It was conveniently located to where we were attending a wedding. The breakfast area the food was fresh. There was a lot of choices being that we stayed there for a few days. It was easy to choose different items for different days. As you walked into the hotel lobby, it smelled super clean. It didn’t smell like a hospital with a stale, moldy smell. It smelled super fresh. Our beds were fixed, complete tucked, and ready to get back into it the next evening Our towels were well stocked for the five of us. We never had to ask for more towels. Our state was pleasant and we would love to return to the same location
