Breakfast was excellent. Location was great close to historical remnants of older Guangzhou.

The only negative issue was some slight confusion over the payment and return of a security bond. This was hard for reception desk people to explain given I don't speak Chinese (not their fault).

"Nicely renovated hotel in the older part of Guangzhou."

Lovely, large modern room in the older part of Guangzhou. Staff on the ground floor assisting with luggage and vehicle transport were very helpful.

Mould in the bathroom. Front desk staff pushing us to pay extra for an early check in even though the room was ready, after requesting a manager intervene they accommodated the earlier check in at no additional cost.
