The spa was nice, but also had the indoor hot tub out of order. Our room was nice and comfortable and staff were pleasant.

The property was very nice and has a lot of potential, but I was frustrated that I booked our trip under the impression I would be able to enjoy all of the amenities, and that wasn’t the case. I felt completely mislead and surprised when I was on my way to the resort only to find out at that point (not when I was booking the reservation) that everything was basically closed for maintenance. I booked this trip for a nice anniversary getaway with my husband and it was over three hours away. So, I was pretty upset to find out the ice rink, whiskey bar, tipsy restaurant, and indoor spa hot tub were all out of order. It essentially forced us to go off the premises for meals, drinks, and entertainment, which was the opposite of what I intended for our trip. We did eat at the other restaurant on the premises for one lunch and one breakfast, but that’s not where I wanted to spend every meal the entire time. For how much I paid to stay at the resort I would assume I would be able to experience the amenities. I understand maintenance needs to happen occasionally to help a resort function properly, but this felt excessive and honestly quite a disappointment overall.
