Unique nautical-themed hotel in a converted ship, with perfect views of the Hooghly River. The rooms were comfortable and staff were friendly. Room service was excellent.

Nice location (apart from once being trapped in the hotel by a train stopped on the track immediately in front of the hotel). Rooms clean and comfortable, if a little dated. Bar/restaurant good

Nothing liked in the hotel except the location.

No cleanliness at all. Hopeless staff. Didn't get invoice at the time to of check out, They told us that they will send through email by afternoon. Till it didn't came. When called, they said it will sent by today afternoon.

Once they’ve got your money then they don’t care about you enjoying your stay. A huge party boat was moored alongside my cabin music and speeches blasting out for hours in addition to the invasion of privacy with people staring/taking pictures. Had to keep the blind down almost whole time. So much for a ‘river view cabin’ This was a Monday night not even a weekend. Phoned the reception multiple times to ask about conpensation for this huge inconvenience (no forewarning about it of course) Eventually - having failed to call me back multiple times despite promising to - my room service item was refunded and that was all I got. If you’re going to make lots of money from party boats then fine - but at keast have the decency/honesty to advise guests in advance or limit it to certain specified days
