It was an unusual, quirky place to stay. I liked the nautical theme . The staff were lovely and professional - nothing was too much trouble. Nice soft beds and decent bathroom.

The decor could do with updating - stained wallpaper etc. The room could've done with a bit of a clean as the floor was a bit dirty and there were a few cobwebs here and there. Bathroom sink was stained around the plug hole. One room didn't have any tea bags, only coffee. I asked for a fridge in our room for my medication, was told yes, but we had no fridge. Had to get ice packs frozen/chilled at reception, which wasn't a problem. We booked taxi's to the airport at reception. Agreed a price, but it was more when we came to pay, so we didn't give a tip. My husband ordered a chicken Kathi roll for his meal but was brought chicken curry.

At the time of booking, I was assured that there would be a complimentary breakfast but the same was charged at the hotel. So, I feel myself misrepresented by Booking.com and due to that I had to pay an additional amount even when the room was booked at its high price.

The way Booking.com has made false assurance of complimentary breakfast but failed to convery the said facility to the hotel.

I was there the day before the start of the 2025 IPL for four days and had a great time throughout. Everything in the hotel runs like clockwork and professionally. From the check in, to room service, housekeeping and the dining. Even the valet parking was commendable. Special callout to Arindam Chakraborty in the restaurant and Srabanti and Akash at the reception.
